Course Objectives and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to define Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and to learn the basic definitions, concepts and subjects related to it and the necessary medical terminology.
Course Content: Knowledge, skills and competencies to distinguish, correctly pronounce, write and use Medical and Radiological terms related to Movement System, Respiratory System, Gastrointestinal System, Central Nervous System, Circulatory System, Urogenital System and other organs

1) He/she can describe clinical knowledge related to diseases in specialized areas within the scope of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
2) He/she has the necessary knowledge infrastructure to conduct evaluations in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
3) He/she possesses the foundational knowledge of basic sciences required for the field.
4) He/she can access information for professional development by using up-to-date and reliable databases and digital platforms, and when necessary, can deliver qualified presentations by using effective communication skills.
5) He/she can evaluate the case from a biopsychosocial perspective in order to plan treatment. During this process, he/she can identify normal and abnormal conditions and choose appropriate measurement and evaluation methods.
6) He/She can evaluate the case from multiple perspectives to make treatment planning. In this process, he/she can choose appropriate measurement and evaluation methods.
7) He/she identifies normal and abnormal conditions that arise in educational and clinical settings through subjective and objective evaluations.
