Course Objectives: | This course offers a critical approach to items and practices of several visual cultures such as popular culture, photography, painting, advertisement and films. Certain vocabulary and concepts will be taken notice of to raise questions about how -and why- people infer meanings from visual objects and practices. The course will accelerate students’ learning and critical thinking skills regarding visual practices. |
