Specific Admission Requirements

To apply for a non-thesis master's program, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree. Unless otherwise decided by the Senate, ALES or an equivalent exam requirement and foreign language requirement are not required.
Candidates applying to programs with a foreign language requirement and programs that provide education in a foreign language must have a score of not less than 60 points from one of the central foreign language exams accepted by YÖK / OSYM, or have an equivalent score from one of the international exams accepted as equivalent, or have an equivalent score from the English proficiency (FBU-Pro) exam for graduate students who will receive graduate education accepted by the Senate.
In order for foreign national candidates applying to master's programs taught in a foreign language to start the master's program, their mother tongue must be the same as the language of instruction of the program or they must have graduated from any university in the country or from an undergraduate/graduate program taught in the same language at a foreign higher education institution whose equivalence is accepted by YÖK. or must have received a sufficient score from one of the exams specified in subparagraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 8.
