Students who graduate from the Medical Laboratory Techniques program can work as healthcare professionals in public and private sector hospitals. Since the need for qualified staff trained in this field is constantly increasing in our country, it is possible for graduates to find jobs. In addition, they can work in the state, social insurance hospitals, family health centers, private clinics and analysis laboratories of private and public healthcare institutions, research centers of other health institutions, public health institutes, and institutions and organizations that carry out R&D studies in the food industry, medicine and research centers. They can work in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histology, Hematology, Serology, Pathology, Parasitology, Neurophysiology, Audiometry laboratories, IVF and Blood Centers. In addition, they work as technicians in microbiology research laboratories of pharmaceutical companies and food industry, and in research laboratories of universities.
Due to advancements in healthcare and an aging population, most healthcare careers are growing rapidly, including the medical lab tech career.
