| Course Objectives: |
To gain knowledge and skills about the formation of pregnancy, the changes and risks in the pregnancy process, the importance of follow-up and care during pregnancy, to protect and improve the health of the mother and fetus, to adopt their own roles in this process. |

Fertility and women's health; Reproductive health, the importance of factors affecting the situation in Turkey and reproductive health, reproductive system anatomy; reproductive system physiology; Female and male genital system anatomy, Female and male reproductive system physiology, Pregnancy formation (fertilization) and factors affecting pregnancy formation, Prenatal period and the role of the midwife, prenatal period (pregnancy, pregnancy symptoms, diagnosis, physiological and psychosocial changes during pregnancy), Usual complaints and management according to trimesters during pregnancy, Prenatal evaluation, follow-up and prenatal care (Increasing maternal and fetal health during pregnancy), Prenatal fetal evaluation (prenatal diagnosis methods), Rights and protection of pregnant women, Conditions that put maternal and fetal health at risk during pregnancy and their prevention Pregnancy exercises, Pregnancy education and its importance for healthy pregnancy, delivery and postpartum, Evidence-Based Practices in Pregnancy |
