Course Objectives and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide students with the basic knowledge, skills and strategies necessary to improve their athletic performance. It aims to ensure that students are informed about the physical, mental and nutritional needs of athletes and can design appropriate training programs to maximize their performance.

Basic physical tests and performance evaluation methods
Physiological Adaptation and Training Principles

-Basic principles of muscle growth and endurance
Aerobic and anaerobic energy systems
Design and principles of training programs
Nutrition and Supplementation

-The importance of sports nutrition and basic food groups

Use and effects of supplements suitable for athletes
