Fenerbahçe University is submitting its students such as getting to know different cultures and experience education abroad in areas ranging from engineering, architecture, media, sportive sciences and healthcare sciences, long term or short term training/education facilities, scholarships as well as fulfilling practical work abroad.

Within framework of international cooperation means provided by Fenerbahçe University, in parallel to the activities realized together with international non-government organizations, multi-national companies, international research and business development institutions, our students are enabled to start with their professional careers adequately equipped to meet the expectations of a global world.

With the target of bringing up individuals properly governing global languages, open to innovative and creative thought, focused on scientific development; having completed their  individual, social and academic developments, thereby taking a prominent position among the leading “Global Universities” worldwide, internationalizing experiences of our students and ensuring in general that the university competes as a global research force.

Fenerbahçe University is opening its doors wide apart to students from various countries under its associate and undergraduate departments in 5 different Faculties and 1 Vocational Academy as well as the graduate and doctorate programs presented in our institutes.

Detailed data and particulars with respect to the Doctorate and Graduate programs as well as Undergraduate and Associate departments, application terms and tuition fees could be accessed from the web site of Fenerbahçe University.

Steps to be taken for becoming an international student at Fenerbahçe University:

  1. First of all, you are required to send us the documents required for your application. Necessary documents vary according to the degree and department you desire to be educated at; yet the basic documentation is listed hereinbelow.
  • Copy of an Internationally Valid Passport
  • Diploma/Graduation Certificate received from the recently graduated institution (In English/Turkish)
  • Transcript received from the recently graduated institution, covering all years (In English/Turkish)

  1. Right after your application, we shall be starting with the evaluation of your application process.

  1. Congratulations, result of your application has arrived!

Well, what is to be done after acceptance? This part is important, please read it carefully.

  1. After receiving the result of your application, Fenerbahçe University decides to admit you as a prospective candidate student, we shall be sending you a Letter of Conditional Acceptance. Yet what is this “Condition”? Don’t worry! You are accepted to the University as a candidate student; the only condition is making a down payment to that effect.

Fenerbahçe University is expecting from its prospective students to make a deposit/down payment to serve as an attestation towards being educated at FBU. Therefore, you would be required to pay such deposit amount set forth on your conditional acceptance letter to the official bank account of the University. Bank account particulars are to be shared with the letter of conditional acceptance.

ATTENTION! Deposit is not an extra payment; such deposit/down payment amount is set-off against and deducted from the tuition fee.

ATTENTION! After making the down payment, please DO NOT FORGET to transmit the receipt/voucher via e-mail.

  1. Once receiving the respective voucher, we shall be sending you the Letter of Unconditional Acceptance.

CONGRATULATIONS! If you are coming from any country exempted from visa while entering the Republic of Turkey, you are welcome to report to Fenerbahçe University together with your Letter of Unconditional Acceptance as well as such original documentation required from you and start with your registry/matriculation procedures.

  1. For those countries subject to visa, Letter of Unconditional Acceptance is an official document required to be used for initiating your visa procedures. You could start with your visa process before any Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey together with your Letter of Unconditional Acceptance and original documents.
  2. Kindly ask for your Diploma Equivalence from the Consular Office, the Consulate shall be assisting you!
  3. After receiving your Letter of Unconditional Acceptance and visa, International Relations Directorate shall be contacting you regarding procedures concerning health insurance, residence permit, accommodation and such other related matters.
