The aim of the New Media and Communication Department is to educate professionals who can interpret all areas of communication—from design to management, and from production to digital content creation—through an innovative perspective, and who can meet the sector’s growing need for qualified expertise in the field of new media. The program also aims to cultivate individuals who possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, are competent in all dimensions of digital communication, and are capable of contributing academically and scientifically to the broader field of media and communication.
Within its interdisciplinary curriculum, the department seeks to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to navigate digital communication processes effectively, preparing them for the professional environment through practice-oriented coursework. Graduates are expected to assume active roles in digital media agencies, corporate communication units, creative industries, and content production fields, becoming well-equipped professionals in the sector. Moreover, students who choose to pursue graduate studies are envisioned to contribute to the academic community as highly qualified scholar candidates. |
