| In the rapidly evolving communication landscape of the digital age, new media has become a dynamic field that reshapes the modes of interaction between individuals and institutions. The New Media and Communication Program offers a comprehensive educational framework that enables students to understand digital culture and effectively utilize contemporary communication technologies in line with this transformation. The curriculum adopts an interdisciplinary structure encompassing areas such as social media management, digital content creation, web design, mobile media, media literacy, and communication law. Through applied courses—including editing techniques, web design, and new media and coding—students gain practical skills in producing textual, visual, and video-based content, while also developing sector-oriented competencies in digital marketing, SEO, and data analytics. The Faculty Media Center provides a technologically equipped environment that supports students’ applied projects, competition submissions, and portfolio development processes. By working with professional equipment in studio and production settings, students have the opportunity to build a strong portfolio prior to graduation. The program offers a range of academic mobility opportunities, including Double Major, Minor, ERASMUS, and Farabi programs. Additionally, the university’s broad elective course pool enables students to expand their knowledge across diverse fields and cultivate a multidimensional academic development. |
